"Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your pursuit." - Paul. 1 Timothy 4:12
We have a vibrant and growing youth component (middle and high school age) at Washington First United Methodist. Activities range from small group programs, outings, sports, skits, and and community service projects.
On Sundays, the youth conduct Small Group sessions from 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. in The Station building, which is located directly across the street from the front entrance to the church sanctuary. Sessions are led by volunteers.
All youth who want to sing or listen to music join us at 4:30 - 5:00 in the choir room. Janet Pharr is leading this group.
E.P.I.C. Youth Worship is another opportunity for the youth in our church and community to come together to grow in their faith. They meet Sunday nights from 5 - 7 p.m. in The Station, located across the street from the church. At Youth Worship the youth enjoy fellowship, supper, fun games, skits, meaningful worship, and impactful messages. Would you like to join our youth group?
