Adult

We offer several organizations and programs for our adult members.  From Small Group classes and worship to fellowship and outings, there's something for everyone.  In addition to the regular programs listed below, check the calendar for any additional activities which may interest you.
 Small Group Classes:
Look to the right of the page to see the different adult classes that meet.  Our youth meet at the Station across the street from the church.

SEEKERS CLASS:  Seekers employ a discussion format and use a variety of study materials. They enjoy reaching out into our community with hands-on ministries. This class meets in Wesley Hall.
FAITHFUL MESSENGERS:  Discussion format lessons are taught by volunteer class members.  Lessons are primarily from the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies Series, but also include other study programs.  The class meets downstairs below the sanctuary.

CORNELIA JOHNSON WOMEN'S CIRCLE - The energetic women of our church meet every first Tuesday at 7 p.m. from September-May in the Fellowship Hall.  Each meeting consists of a short program and fellowship.  They are constantly coming up with new ways to demonstrate the love of God.  They would love to have you join them.
United Methodist Men's Fellowship Group - SERVICE.  FELLOWSHIP.  FUN. This active group of dedicated men contribute to the dynamic life of the church in many ways, from working on church projects to conducting fund raising events to pay for church and community needs.  The Men's Fellowship Group meets in the Fellowship Hall the first Sunday of each month at 8 a.m. (only exception is July) for a breakfast program presented by guest speakers as well as members.  All men are invited to attend.
Young At Heart. No matter what your age, if you're young at heart then you'll enjoy our fun outings throughout the year!  The following are the regular trips that are made:
  • Trip for apples in October
  • Trip for peaches in July
  • Various restaurant outings
We usually take the church bus or carpool for these outings so the only thing you have to think about is fun and fellowship.  We make some great memories on these outings and hope you'll join us on our next one!

For more information, or if you have an idea for a Young At Heart outing, please contact Cliff Hargrove at 706-678-1249.  Our Young At Heart events are posted on the Calendar page on this site.
