First United
Methodist Church has warm, exciting, spirit-led worship each Sunday at
11:15 in the sanctuary. We are blessed to have a beautiful sanctuary
in which to worship and a wonderful chancel choir to lead us in music.
Our organist, Belle Guin, plays our beautiful pipe organ and Janet Pharr
plays the piano. The music in our service is a blend of contemporary chorus songs as well as old,
favorite hymns. We have a liturgical framework which
brings everything together as we celebrate and experience God's love and
presence. Do you want to know God's word better? In her
sermons, Gale prays that the Holy Spirit will use her as His instrument to
bring the words of the Bible alive. Again we strive to create time
where you can experience God's presence and worship him. We pray that the
sermons, the music of our choir, the ushers, the acolytes and other worship
participants will be guided by the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts,
equip us for service and send us forth to bless our families, community
and the world.
